DHAKA: Bangladesh logged 678 dengue cases on Tuesday, its highest number in a single day so far this year, the South Asian nation's Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) reported.
As of 8 a.m. on Tuesday, five people died of the mosquito-borne disease in the last 24 hours — the highest since January — raising the death toll to 61 so far this year.
