(UPDATE) GILAS Pilipinas is taking advantage of its European training camp by learning defensive fundamentals from former Lithuanian player Virginius Sirvydis since arriving in Kaunas, Lithuania last week.
National coach Chot Reyes said the 49-year-old Sirvydis is a noted coach known for emphasising defense, something Gilas needs heading to the 2023 FIBA World Cup.
