FAO stresses need to invest in tech

THE United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) emphasized the importance of utilizing science, technology and innovation in mitigating the effects of disasters to the agri-fishery sector.

'We need to invest in science; we need to invest in technologies. We need to work together. And we need to support innovation, emergence and scaling,' FAO Country Representative for the Philippines Lionel Dabbadie said.
