THE question begs for an answer: what was it for the Filipino seafarer to celebrate June 25 meant to pay tribute to him?

Resolution 19 adopted during the 2010 Conference of Parties to the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers, 1978 held in Manila, Philippines, nominated June 25 of every year as the 'Day of the Seafarer.'
