WITH 11.58 million college students expected to graduate in 2023, a record high, various provinces have introduced measures to boost and stabilize employment. Analysts said boosting employment will have a positive impact on both the industrial and consumer sides, which is crucial to steady economic recovery and growth in China.

As one of the latest examples, Beijing issued 15 measures to stabilize employment, including providing one-time subsidies for enterprises to create jobs, encouraging business startups by graduates and migrant workers, conducting trainings on professional skills, as well as increasing financial support to small and microenterprises, according to a notice on the municipal government's website published on Monday.
