Japan repulses China to stay perfect in VNL

Japan repulsed China, 26-24, 23-25, 21-25, 25-23, 15-12 to stay perfect in the 2023 Volleyball Nations League (VNL) at the Mall of Asia Arena on Tuesday, July 4.

Team captain Ishikawa Yuki dropped 19 points on 16 attacks, two blocks, and one service ace to lead the Japanese, who began their Manila leg campaign with a win and improved to 9-0.
