DAGUPAN CITY: A 28-year-old Yemeni student was killed when his motorcycle collided with a tricycle here on Sunday. Police identified the student as Mohammed Aljelani. He died while being taken to a hospital, according to a report from the Police Regional Office 1.

Police said Aljelani was driving his motorcycle on the westbound lane of the road traversing Barangay Tapuac here at about 4 a.m. on July 2 when a tricycle speeding on the opposite lane suddenly encroached on his lane and crashed on his motorcycle. The tricycle driver was identified as Richard de Sola Arenas, 46, a resident of Barangay Lucao here. He suffered bruises on his hands.
