THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has commended Valenzuela City for setting up nine "Timbangan ng Bayan" as part of a nationwide approach to protect consumers.
On Friday, June 30, Trade Undersecretary Ruth Castelo said in English and Filipino that this initiative aims to not just protect consumers but also sellers in the city.
