WB approves $600-M PH rural devt project

THE World Bank board has approved a $600-million project aimed at increasing market access and incomes for almost half a million farmers and fisherfolk across the Philippines.

The Philippine Rural Development Project Scale-Up (PRDP Scale-Up) will expand on the implementation of the previous PRDP, launched in 2014 by the Department of Agriculture.
