56-day BSP Bill oversubscribed

STRONG demand greeted the inaugural offering of the 56-day BSP Bill with bids more than double the offered volume, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) reported on Friday.

The central bank made a full award of the P20 billion on offer, with the weighted average interest rate (WAIR) settling at 6.6442 percent.
