HAVANA: Allies Cuba and Russia, both targets of Western sanctions, intend to pursue closer "technical-military" cooperation, the communist island's government mouthpiece said on Wednesday.
The plan was discussed on Tuesday during Cuban Armed Forces Minister Alvaro Lopez Miera's visit to Moscow, where he met his Russian counterpart Sergei Shoigu, the Granma newspaper reported.
