22 Wi-Fi sites launched in 3 Samar provinces

TACLOBAN CITY: The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has launched 22 Wi-Fi sites in Samar provinces that will address the digital divide on the island.

Northern Samar Gov. Edwin Ongchuan on Thursday said DICT Secretary Ivan John Uy visited the province on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, to launch the project for Samar Island as part of DICT's initiative to strengthen the free Wi-Fi sites in rural communities at the provincial capitol.
