'Habagat' weakens but still affecting parts of PH -- Pagasa

ALTHOUGH the effect of southwest monsoon lor 'habagat' has weakened, it will still bring rain in parts of the country, particularly in the western section of Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Friday.

Pagasa's weather specialist Benison Estareja said they are monitoring cloud clusters inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) but which have less chance to turn into a low pressure area (LPA) over the next 48 hours.
