MOSCOW: Influential Russian military bloggers have questioned Moscow's response to the recent mutiny by the private mercenary group Wagner, with some praising President Vladimir Putin's self-control and others saying they expected a tougher response.
In an extraordinary series of events last week, Wagner, which had for months led an assault in eastern Ukraine, rebelled and threatened to attack the Russian capital Moscow before reversing course.
