Trade Secretary Alfredo Pascual is pushing the Philippines as an investment destination for renewable energy (RE).

Speaking at Philippine Business Forum on Green Energy and Digital Technologies in Brussels, Belgium on Tuesday, Pascual discussed the country's vast potential in green energy given its geographic location, having an estimated 246 gigawatts (GW) untapped RE with an average of solar radiation of 165 watts per square meter.
