MPTC offers to buy govt stake in NLEX

METRO Pacific Tollways Corp. (MPTC), a subsidiary of infrastructure conglomerate Metro Pacific Investments Corp., has offered to acquire the government's stake in North Luzon Expressway Corp. (NLEX).

'We made an offer to acquire the stake of TRB (Toll Regulatory Board), BCDA (Bases Conversion and Development Authority) and [the] national government in NLEX,' MPTC President and Chief Executive Officer Rogelio Singson said.
