Fly-infested poultry farm finally closed

UMINGAN, Pangasinan: Four days after the mayor ordered its closure, a poultry farm believed to be the source of the fly infestation in Barangay Cabatuan was finally shut down by a team from the local government on Monday.

The team composed of health, environment, and engineering officers was accompanied by policemen and barangay (village) officials in serving the notice of temporary closure and suspension of operation of Primehen Poultry Farm to its owner, Lester Atioan, in Barangay Cabatuan.
