THE country's economic managers are expecting sustained growth for this year as the government is taking extra measures to fulfill such a target.

Speaking at the midyear economic forum of The Manila Times on Tuesday, National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Undersecretary Rosemarie Edillon, delivering a speech on behalf of Socioeconomic Planning Secretary Arsenio Balisacan, said they see reduced unemployment, inflation and poverty before the year ends.
