WMU bats for safety, sustainability in shipping

THE World Maritime University (WMU) is taking the cudgels to promote safety and sustainability in the international maritime industry through its graduates coming from across the globe.

Maximo Mejia Jr., WMU's president-designate, said the institution was unique in promoting safer seas for world trade and protecting the seas from ship-sourced pollution.
