Region 2 miners showcase responsible mining

SANTIAGO CITY: With the booming mining industry in Region 2, the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) in Cagayan Valley said miners and stakeholders will converge in a forum in this city today, June 27, to showcase their responsible and sustainable mining operations in the region.

The Cagayan Valley region is host to at least four mining companies, namely the Australian OceanaGold Didipio Mine, the London-based FCF Minerals Corp., the Nickel Asia-operated Dinapigue Mining Corp., and the JDVC Resources Corp., which is tagged as the first Philippine offshore mining company.
