Comelec to rule on Negros Oriental BSKE deferment

THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) will decide on the proposal to defer the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) in Negros Oriental a month before the polls on October 30.

'As to when we would come out with our decision, this could happen on the last week of September until the first week of October,' Comelec Chairman George Erwin Garcia said on Monday.
