THE Philippines and the World Bank on Monday signed four loan agreements worth $1.14 billion that will be used to support the country's economic recovery, strengthen climate resilience, improve the quality of education, and boost the agriculture and fisheries sector.

Finance Secretary Benjamin Diokno signed on behalf of the government while World Bank Country Director Ndiamé Diop did the same for the multilateral organization, formalizing the implementation of four previously-announced initiatives.
