Govt debt servicing balloons to P204.7T

THE national government's debt servicing surged in April following an increase in amortization charges, data released by the Bureau of the Treasury showed.

Total debt payments for the month ballooned to P204.76 billion from P42.97 billion a year ago. It was at P142.17 billion in March.
