Ex-DoH chief: Smoking bad for oral health

FORMER Health secretary Jaime Galvez Tan warned the public that smoking is bad for oral health, as it not only causes bad breath but may also lead to mouth cancer.

Tan, who was Health department chief during the Ramos administration and a trustee of Health Justice Philippines, made the statement as part of an awareness campaign to mark National No Smoking Month.
