Medalla, bankers welcome Remolona

INCUMBENT Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Felipe Medalla and the Philippine bankers expressed confidence in the appointment of Eli Remolona as the next central bank governor.

In a statement late on Friday, Medalla said that Remolona has extensive international experience in central banking, affirming his capabilities as the next BSP chief.
