BACOLOD CITY: The Philippine National Police (PNP) is pointing to New People's Army (NPA) rebels as suspects in the brutal slaying of four members of the Fausto family last week in Himamaylan City.
In a press conference on Thursday of the Regional Task Force to End Local Conflict, Col. Leo Pamittan, acting provincial police director, identified Fernando Hermino, of the Central Negros 2, Komiteng Rehiyonal Negros, Cebu Bohol and Siquijor of the CPP-NPA along with 15 other rebels as the alleged suspects in the killing Rolly and his wife Emilda and their two minor sons in their house in Barangay Buenavista, Himamaylan City on June 14.
