TABUK CITY, Kalinga: Agrarian Reform Secretary Conrado Estrella 3rd led the distribution of 714 certificates of land ownership awards, P3.1 million worth of farm machinery, and a solar powered irrigation system to 786 farmer beneficiaries and 23 farmers organizations during the celebration of the Matagoan Festival here on Friday.
The land titles had a total area of 1,201 hectares in the province of Kalinga and distributed as follows: 365 land titles to 377 agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in Tabuk City covering 259.87 hectares; 103 land titles to 251 ARBs in Pinukpuk covering 682 hectares; 126 land titles to 94 ARBs in Rizal covering 112.50 hectares; 21 titles to 2 ARBs in Pasil covering 10 hectares; 57 titles to 35 ARBs in Lubuagan covering 7.15 hectares; and 49 titles to 20 ARBs in Balbalan covering 7.86 hectares.
