REPRESENTATIVES from the Bureau of the Treasury (BTr), Department of Finance (DOF), and Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) engaged in another courtesy call with Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benhur Abalos on June 19, 2023, at the Philippine National Police (PNP) National Headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City. Secretary Abalos gathered the chiefs of the uniformed personnel to meet the economic team and discuss the military and uniformed personnel (MUP) pension reform.
By virtue of Republic Act No. 6975, the PNP, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) all fall under the mantle of the DILG.
