THE Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said on Thursday it is amenable to the proposal of Health Secretary Teodoro Herbosa to hire nursing graduates who failed the board exam for hospital duty, as long as they are supervised by registered nurses.
Herbosa said Monday he plans to hire examinees who got a failing grade of 70 to 74 percent to help ease the shortage of health care workers in the country.
