Based on the latest genome sequencing results from May 29 to June 12, 2023, OCTA Research fellow Dr, Guido David says there has been an increase in the presence of Omicron subvariants in the country, along with the detection of the first case of Omicron subvariant FE.1, which the Department of Health is monitoring.
