THE country has become less competitive, dropping four notches to 52nd out of 64 economies in the latest global ranking by the International Institute for Management Development (IMD).
"The ranking decline came amid a deterioration in exchange rate stability, current account balance, tourism receipts, as well as faster inflation," the IMD said in a statement accompanying the release of its 2023 World Competitiveness Ranking report.
