THE Maritime Industry Authority (Marina) and World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF)-Philippines' efforts to address port and ship waste management are building momentum for an ambitious transition.
Marina, through the Shipyards Regulation Service (SRS) and WWF-Philippines, conducted back-to-back fora on June 13, titled "Port and Ship Waste Management with Maritime Schools and Institutions" and "Port and Ship Waste Management Consultation Forum with Shipping Companies, Shipyards and Other Entities," respectively.
