Alsons sets focus on 3 RE projects

'Our expansion to renewable energy is now in full swing,' Alsons Chairman and President Nicasio Alcantara told stockholders on Tuesday.
Alsons has targeted construction of a 37.8-megawatt (MW) combined solar and run-of-river hydro power plant in Zamboanga del Norte under the Siayan Hydro brand and a run-of-river hydro power project in Negros Occidental with a target capacity of up to 42 MW. It will also commence the construction of another plant in General Santos City.
