VATICAN CITY: Pope Francis led Angelus prayers at St. Peter's Square in the Vatican on Sunday before thousands of pilgrims, more than a week after undergoing a hernia operation.
Francis expressed gratitude to those who had sent him messages of support during his stay at Rome's Gemelli University Hospital as he spent 10 days convalescing.
