Region 2 coffee gets high 'green' rating

THE coffee industry in Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) got a big boost after the region's produce was green-graded as fine robusta and specialty arabica.

Manilyn Ponce, DTI Region 2 information officer, said this was the highest classification per category in the recently held Philippine Coffee Quality Competition (PCQC) 2023, which was facilitated by the Barista and Coffee Academy of Asia Inc.
