ILOILO City Boarding House Locator has been installed in order to assist inspectors in conveniently locating boarding houses in the metropolis, where all accredited boarding houses have been included. The Iloilo City Boarding House Commission (BHC) has implemented the initiative covering 1,493 identified boarding houses, hotels, inns, and pension houses that are encoded in the directory as of May 31. This facilitates the management of data acquired from boarding house owners and operators, such as boarding house owners' identities, personal business information, and corresponding locator numbers. It utilizes Global Positioning System (GPS) technology tracking system to locate every boarding house that could easily identify and determine its geographical location. 'The inspectors' work is simplified because they can simply enter the locator number, and the location of the boarding house across all city districts will be displayed via GPS,' BHC administrative staff Jesusa Mendiola said. BHC's primary objective is to secure the borders' safety.
