SANTA ANA, Cagayan: A 5.6-magnitude earthquake hit Calayan island-town in Cagayan at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2023, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The quake, tectonic in origin, was recorded 53 kilometers deep northwest off Dalupiri island, the agency added.
