Sunny in Luzon, Visayas; rainy in Mindanao

IT will be a sunny Monday in Luzon and Visayas but not in Mindanao which will have isolated rain showers and thunderstorms because of the inter-tropical convergence zone (ITCZ), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

'The country can expect a generally fair weather condition except in some areas in Mindanao where occasional downpour may prevail especially in the afternoon or at night,' weather specialist Obet Badrina.
