Taiwan university helping Filipino engineering students

ONE of Taiwan's prestigious universities has been providing free education to Filipino engineering students under the Taiwan government's work-study program, the Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO) said.

MECO Chairman Silvestre Bello 3rd said on Sunday that 73 Filipinos earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, major in Management (IEM), from the Minghsin University of Science and Technology, and the first batch of graduates last February were all women.
