Balanza game-winning layup lifts Converge past SMB

Former Letran star Jerrick Balanza scored the game-winning layup with 1.5 seconds to go as Converge nipped San Miguel Beer, 113-111 in overtime in their PBA On Tour match on Sunday at the Ynares Arena in Pasig City.

Balanza, Barangay Ginebra's second round pick in the 2019 PBA Rookie Draft, went on to finish with 15 points as the FiberXers finally ended their three-game losing skid.
