LEGAZPI CITY: As more pupils are displaced from their schools following the abnormal condition of Mayon Volcano, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. directed the Department of Education (DepEd) in Bicol to make the school children productive while staying in evacuation camps.
The DepEd reported that there are 47 schools located within the 8-kilometer danger zone with a total of 20,543 learners, 842 teachers, and 109 nonteaching personnel.
