A magnitude 5.5 earthquake jolted Calayan, Cagayan on Saturday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Phivolcs said the epicenter of the quake, which occurred at 6:15 p.m., was15 kilometers northwest of Dalupiri Island, Calayan, had a depth of 3 kilometers and was tectonic in origin.
