DoST, Nestlé sign MOU on food safety and sustainable packaging

DEPARTMENT of Science and Technology (DoST) Secretary Renato Solidum Jr. and Nestlé Philippines Inc. Chair and CEO Kais Marzouki, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly undertake collaborative research on nutrition and health, food safety, sustainability, and packaging.

Marzouki, citing Nestlé's commitment to remain the Kasambuhay for the good of Filipinos, pledges sustainable production by promoting responsible consumption through food that will soon use biodegradable and compostable packaging materials.
