Sara recognizes LGBT in first pride reception

VICE President Sara Duterte on Friday recognized the efforts of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex and others (LGBTQI+) community at the first-ever Pride Reception by the Office of the Vice President (OVP) held in Quezon City in celebration of Pride Month.

Duterte was joined in the reception by Bataan First District Rep. Geraldine Roman, the first-ever LGBT lawmaker in the country, lawyer Herminio "Harry" Roque Jr., and LGBTQI leaders from Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao who are part of LGBT Pilipinas, as well as LGBT rights supporters.
