THE oil spill recovery efforts in the sunken MT Princess Empress in Oriental Mindoro has been "completed," the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said Saturday.
In a news forum in Quezon City, PCG spokesman Armand Balilo said that based on information shared to them by the Malayan Towage and Salvage Corp. (MSTC), which conducted the oil recovery efforts, all eight cargo oil tanks were now empty, and the only remaining observations were oil drips from the cargo piping line.
