PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has directed the Department of Agriculture (DA) to study the feasibility of the proposal to set up silos to ensure a 30-day buffer stock of rice and corn in the country, Malacañang said Friday.
Presidential Communications Secretary Cheloy Garafil said the President issued the directive during a meeting with the Private Sector Advisory Council (PSAC) on agriculture in Malacañang on Thursday.
