BACOLOD CITY: Two more suspected members of the New People's Army (NPA) were killed and 32 families were displaced in a series of clashes on Tuesday in Sitio Cupad in Barangay Macagahay, Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental.
Army spokesman 1Lt. Mary Liza Joy de Guzman said the two slain rebels were left behind at the encounter site by their fleeing comrades, following a 20-minute gun battle with 62nd Infantry Battalion (62IB) soldiers.
