THE Philippine Council for Agriculture and Fisheries (PCAF), the policymaking arm of the Department of Agriculture (DA), pressed for the latter's inclusion in the anti-smuggling task force to help curb agricultural smuggling.
DA-PCAF Executive Director Nestor Domenden on Wednesday told The Manila Times that deputizing the department as part of the task force headed by the Bureau of Customs (BoC) will counter-check the activities being carried out by the bureau.
