AN organization of farmers in Aklan expressed interest in the use of crop establishment technologies (CET) to level up their "palay" (unmilled rice) production.
The Jugas Farmers Irrigators Association in New Washington, Aklan is one of the Farmers Cooperatives and Associations who expressed their interest on the use of CET during the advocacy campaign dubbed as "Makinaryang Pantanim: Push na yan sa palayan" (Machines for planting: Push it for rice cultivation) of the Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PHilMech).
