Marcos OKs wider food stamp program

(UPDATE) PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has approved the pilot implementation of the food stamp program that will also include single parents, and pregnant and lactating women, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) said on Tuesday.

The President gave the approval during a sectoral meeting with Social Welfare Secretary Rexlon Gatchalian and other members of the Cabinet in Malacañang.
